Aiello del Friuli (Friulian: Daèl) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 45 km northwest of Trieste and about 25 km southeast of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,229 and an area of 13.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Aiello del Friuli contains the frazione (subdivision) Joannis (Friulian Uanis).
